- Dr. Philip Bernhardt is Assistant Professor and Department Chair of Secondary Education, K-12 Education, & Educational Technology at the MSU Denver School of Education. Dr. Bernhardt’s professional development expertise includes backwards design, performance assessment, effective instructional practices, new teacher mentoring and induction, and supporting middle and high schools to establish course placement policies and norms aimed at expanding student access to advanced-level coursework.

- Amanda Kreiger, Shelli Robins, and Elizabeth Dent are all from Weld County School District 6 in Greeley, Colorado. Amanda Kreiger is a Program Coordinator for AVID and Secondary Language Arts District 6. Previously, Amanda worked as a K-12 Instructional Facilitator and before that as a 9-12 English teacher. Shelli Robins is the Principal at Greeley West High School. Elizabeth Dent is an English teacher and AVID coordinator for Greeley West High School.
Weld County School District 6 was recently featured by 9 News in Colorado for its achievements in helping more students succeed in the district's toughest courses. The district saw an increase of 250 percent of minority students taking AP courses. For more, watch the news segment.
